Application & Aftercare

How to Apply: (Scroll down for video tutorial)

  1. Prepare the skin by cleaning and drying your hands
  2. Remove packaging and cut a few millimetres around the design. Peel off the transparent film
  3. Set the tattoo face down on your skin and apply slight pressure
  4. Soak your gifted sponge and gently press down to wet the paper for 30 seconds. Avoid harsh movements
  5. Carefully check if the tattoo is applied. If it lifts with the paper then gently pat it down and apply more water. Be careful not to rip the tattoo

Carefully peel off the paper to reveal your tattoo. Avoid touching for 20 minutes to 1 hour (This helps to keep the tattoo durable for longer). With correct aftercare your tattoos can last up to 4 days

Aftercare: How to get your temporary henna tattoos to last longer

  • Avoid touching the tattoos while fresh (20 minutes to an hour)
  • Avoid excessive friction
  • Avoid using oil based products over the tattoos
  • If fibres attach to the tattoo overtime then simply rinse and gently pat dry
  • While the tattoos are waterproof, they are still prone to tearing if scrubbed too harshly. Ensure delicate care when touching your tattoo
  • Apply jewellery only when the tattoo is fully dry. This prevents damaging the design and causing rips
  • If you prefer a matte look then apply a small amount of setting/ baby powder very gently once the tattoo is dry. This can help remove the shine. (Be careful not to apply too much as it can cause the tattoo to look chalky)
  • To extend the wear of your tattoos you can apply a slight layer of hairspray at a safe distance
  • Areas with frequent movement such as fingers and wrists are more likely to become creased. This is unavoidable unfortunately due to the area of skin. So take extra care when applying and touching these areas
  • It is normal for the tattoos to look slightly shiny and feel tight on the skin, however, this stops after a few hours. As your skin produces natural oils it will soften up the tattoo and allow it to blend in with your skin.
  • (For Muslim customers): If you plan to wear our tattoos for the day while also praying then complete the ablution/ wudhu prior to tattoo application, as our products are waterproof
  • Store the tattoos away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture. Storing them in a cool and dry place will keep them as good as new.

How to Remove:

  • Use soap and water with firm rubbing
  • Use baby oil or makeup remover if preferred
  • Nail varnish remover can also be used for quick removal
  • Make sure to wash and moisturise the area afterwards to replenish the skin
